<p><strong>Exciting New Development!</strong></p>
<p>York School of Theology will now be partnering with the St Pauls Theological Centre in London to bring an exciting new theological programme to York.</p>
<p>St Pauls&#8217; own School of Theology hosts top theological educators like Rowan and Jane Williams and Tom Wright, and is run by former Wycliffe Hall Vice Principal, Graham Tomlin.</p>
<p>As a way in to this innovative new approach to making theology exciting and accessible, we will be offering a 12 part &#8220;Bible Track&#8221; programme over the academic year 2010/2011, to be held on Saturday mornings at a City Centre venue.</p>
<p>Each session will include a feast of refreshing worship and sustaining coffee and pastries as well as meaty ideas!</p>

Ideal for new Christians and those who feel they are ignorant of the way the 66 Bible books fit together. <p><strong>Four Tuesday evenings from 20<sup>th</sup> January 2009 at St Cuthbert&#8217;s, 7.30 pm, led by Joan Sargent, Director of Pastoral Care, Spurriergate  Centre, York. Cost £20</strong></p>
<p>Many Christians would like to know more about how to reach out for the Lord to their neighbours in the 21st Century, bringing hope.  This is a four week course that will help students to explore ways of engaging within their communities in a caring way.  Session topics are forgiving, listening, story-telling and healing in the community.  The course will deal with some of the &#8216;nitty-gritty&#8217; issues that we find in our society.  Biblical-based theory will be explored through interactive discussion, group activities, exercises to develop skills and personal reflection.</p>
