YST Management Group

 

Graham Hutchinson has been in the ministry for nearly 30 years and is recognised as a leader of church leaders in York across the denominations. He is currently the senior pastor of Elim Pentecostal Church in York, a growing congregation of many nationalities, and has recently pioneered a café-style church. Graham says that, ‘At YST you will be tutored by people who believe that Christianity is true, and have demonstrated that it works.’

David Stephens spent over 30 years in education as teacher, educational advisor and, for eight years, the Headteacher of Garforth Community College. He studied Theology at London Bible College and later at St. Andrew’s University ( PhD ). He has led a baptist church and is currently a leader of Crossroads church at Manor School, York. He is married to Dorothy (‘the best thing that ever happened to me’ ), has 4 grown up Christian children and enjoys golf, watching sport and model railways.

Ann Vaughan was a secondary school teacher for 30 years before being called to ministry in the Methodist Church. At present she lives in Huntington and has pastoral charge of a group of churches in the York North Circuit. Ann is a keen gardener, loves travelling, walking and archaeology.

Derek Wooldridge is now retired after serving nearly 40 years in three York Anglican churches, where he gained a wide experience in a pastoral, teaching and evangelistic role. He loves teaching the Bible and believes in making the message clear and relevant. His additional commitments include the chairmanship of Yoyo ( York Schools and youth trust ) and working as an Alpha Advisor and course leader.

Jonny Wooldridge, Administrator of YST, spent 8 years teaching before becoming a small-time property developer. His role in YST is to plan for future growth and develop YST into something substantial. He is married to Anne, has two delightful step-kids, Bee and Ed, and hobbies include football, table tennis and mountaineering.

Anna Burr, is the curate of a lively Anglican Church, St Oswalds, Fulford, and brings to YST a strong background in student ministry. She is also a fine musician and singer.

Brunel James, holds degrees from Cambridge, Oxford and Leeds. He has had a wide-ranging ministry accross Yorkshire, and loves to study and support others in learning.
